Leam Beg Estate is a perfect holiday base, situated only five miles from the county town of Enniskillen.  It is convenient to both Dublin and Belfast, and nearby St Angelo's airport is only 8 miles away.  Letterbreen village, 1.5 miles , has a post office, supermarket and pub.  It is also ideally situated for the best possible access to the county's amenities, as well as the golden beaches of Donegal and Sligo.

Local amenities & attractions   Fermanagh boasts a highly developed tourist infrastructure and a wealth of attractions, yet the county remains uncrowded and unspoiled.

Enniskillen is an excellent shopping centre with many good restaurants, hotels, a six-screen cinema and a purpose-built theatre on the shores of Lough Erne.

Leam Beg Estate is also well situated for easy access to a wealth of golfing attractions.  There are no less than five 18 hole golf courses within fifteen minutes drive: Castle Hume, Enniskillen, Blacklion, Slieve Russell and Ashwoods.  (Nick Faldo is planning a new course only 10 mins drive away where almost every shot on the course will be over water!)

Of course, Fermanagh is most famous for its beautiful lakelands (the county is approx 50% land and 50% water!) and all the leisure and activities that it offers.  There is a long-established sailing club and several fishing clubs on Lough Erne, and numerous boat hire companies.  There are also many places to launch your own boat and enjoy a day afloat.  The lake has many historical monuments & sites of interest.
